Erin Schmitz writes: Whether you are family, friends, someone who helped donate or just gave me great advice and support, thank you so much. I meant to send out this email way sooner but I have been so busy out here at Best Friends! Words cannot even describe how amazing this place is; everything from the scenery to the people is just perfect. To anyone who donated any supplies, I can fully tell you that everything I brought is being put to good use. While I am here, I will be writing a blog entry (online journal) about my experiences at Best Friends so you all can keep up with me! My camera is currently out of commission due to a sandstorm in the desert, but I'll be sure to post lots of pictures on there as soon as it's fixed! Feel free to email me with any questions or anything about what it's like out here, or if you're already Best Friends savvy, which animals you want me to check in on! This entire experience has definately restored my faith that there are many good people out there who want to make a difference.
