Fall Sports News 2002

Seton Catholic Central has demonstrated excellence in conference play and enters sectional competition with high expectations. The girls tennis team has already won the Class C tennis title and is preparing for state competition. The cross country teams have had an outstanding season with our girls being undefeated - having won the league title - and the boys coming in second by only a "few seconds". The soccer program is preparing for sectional play with three of the four teams teams winning divisional titles (both varsity and JV girls and JV boys). Our football program continues to improve weekly with many underclassmen seeing playing time, suggesting that maybe we're a year away. Most important, the Saints have demonstrated "sportsmanship" both on and off the fields and have continued to uphold our tradition of academic and athletic excellence. Congratulations to our coaches and athletes!
