Seton Catholic Central High School is a co-educational institution located in Binghamton New York (map). Staffed by laity, religious sisters, and diocesan priests, Seton serves the youth of Broome County as well as students from the Syracuse, Rochester and Scranton Dioceses.

Fall Sports Schedules
8/8/2008 - The fall sports schedules are now available on the Sports page; tryout and practice sites and times are detailed in this download. The fall Coaches meeting will be on Sunday, August 24th and 6:00 pm at SCC. The Fall Sports Parents' Meeting will follow at 7:00 pm.
Varsity and JV Fall Sports begin on Monday, August 18th. These include :
Boys: Varsity Football, Varsity Soccer, JV Soccer
Girls: Varsity Soccer, JV Soccer, Varsity Tennie, Varsity Swimming
B/G: Varsity Cross-Country, Varsity Golf
Modified Fall Sports mostly begin on Thursday, September 4th. These include:
Boys: Modified Soccer
Girls: Modified Soccer, Modified Tennis, Modified Swimming
B/G: Modified Cross Country
Boys Modified A Football will begin on Tuesday Sept. 2nd at 3:45 pm at SCC.

Fourth Quarter SAINT Awards
5/10/2008 - Fourth Quarter SAINT Awards for excellent academic effort were distributed in an assembly the morning of Tuesday, June 10th, at the beginning of SAINTS Day. Congratulations to all SAINT honorees!
Mr. Paden Honored
6/9/2008 - Mr. Richard Paden, SCC teacher of 44 years, who retired this spring, was honored with a Mass and Reception Sunday, June 8th at Seton. An article about Mr. Paden's years of service was published in the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin the same day. God bless you, Mr. Paden - you will be missed!
SCC National Merit Scholars in the Catholic Sun
6/5/2008 - SCCHS seniors Christopher Madl and Paulina Maida were featured in the latest issue of the Syracuse Diocese paper, the Catholic Sun. These two students are among only 2500 in the country - and the only ones in the Broome tri-county area - who achived the status of being National Merial Finalists this year.

Congratulations to Senior class members Christopher Madl and Paulina Maida, who have been named National Merit Scholarship winners! Christopher, the son of George and Patricia Madl, plans to attend Harvard to major in Bio-Medical Engineering. Paulina, the daughter of Ronald and Dorota Maida, hopes to attend the University of Scranton to double-major in Biology and Spanish. Go SAINTS!

Tony Melendez Concert
11/05/2007 - Guitarist Tony Melendez gave an inspirational performance for SCC and Catholic middle-school students today. Mr. Melendez, who was born without arms and plays with his feet, talked about faith, expectations, and achievement and spoke about the importance of not limiting one's dreams.
Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical
10/30/2007 - Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical was presented at SCCHS the weekend of October 25th-27th. This show follows the strange case of Dr. Henry Jekyll and his maniacial serial killer alter-ego, Mr. Edward Hyde. Congratulations to the cast and crew for a great performance!
